The higher the psi, the lower the mpg.however, there is a tiny difference between different psi settings.you only lose like 2mpg between 6 and 10psi. Say what? on a turbo'd car, you force air into the engine - the mass airflow sensor tells the ECU to jack up the fuel delivery, which is what decreases mpg. So "yes" your car could lose some mpg and could save gas. lol if you decide to stomp on the gas pedal because your turbo happy, your just pushing air into the engine casueing it to burn more fuel to even out the air/fuel ratio which = fast gas for your car's ass. It can run 15psi and still be as slow as 10psi because your forcing it to spin that fast causing it to push HOT air into your intake manifold which isnt good. Remember, more boost dont equal more air. The less boost you run the less fuel the car has to put out. If your cruising and its hoovering between 1-3 psi your basicly driving pretty slow but thats saving gas. It dont matter if your set at 8-9 or 10 psi, your gas pedal is where it depends on your gas mileage. You can have the same amount of mpg as a normal NA tC if you drive your car on low boost/psi. Okay, it all depends on how you use your tC if its tc'ed lol. Vietpunk916 wrote: I dont have a turbo tC but i do know some info about turbo cars *my last car was turbo*. The Scion tC 2013 can last up to 36,000 miles with good. All these standard features, and you may think how long do 2013 scion tc last. The car’s speed enables an EPA to achieve approximately 23 mpg city and 31 mpg highway.
